Ninja Detect Kitchen System Power Blender + Processor Pro
FAQ
What should I avoid blending in this system?
Do not blend hot, effervescent, or carbonated liquids. Additionally, do not process or grind dry ingredients in the Single Serve Cup, jug, or processor bowl.
How should I handle the blades?
Always grasp the Stacked Blade Assembly and Chopping Blade Assembly by the top of the shaft. For the Hybrid Edge™ Blades, grasp only by the outer perimeter of the base
Can I store my blends in the containers with the blades attached?
No. Remove the Hybrid Edge Blades Assembly from the Single Serve Cup immediately after blending. Storing ingredients in a sealed container with blades can cause pressure buildup and risk of injury.
What is BlendSense™ technology?
It is an intelligent program that senses your ingredients and automatically adjusts the blending speed, time, and pulses. It is best for smooth textures like smoothies, dips, and purees.
How do I use the manual speeds?
Press MANUAL and use the dial to select a speed from 1–10 (for the jug) or LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH (for the cup/processor). Manual programs run continuously for up to 60 seconds.
What is "Thick Mode"?
This is a BlendSense™ possibility that detects ingredients to create thick, spoonable results.
When should I use "Dough Mode"?
Use this with the Dough Blade Assembly for processing batters and doughs like pizza or cookie dough. Note that the unit is intended to form a dough ball, not to continuously knead it.
Why does the display say "INSTALL"?
This illuminates if no container is installed or if the container/lid is incorrectly placed on the motor base. Ensure everything is clicked securely into place to resolve this.
What does "ADD LIQUID" mean? When using the Single Serve Cup, this indicates the recipe needs more liquid to continue blending. Stop the unit, add $\frac{1}{2}$ to 1 cup of liquid, and restart the program.
What if the motor stops and the unit feels hot?
The unit may have overheated, tripping the thermal switch. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool for approximately 30 minutes before attempting to use it again.
Are the parts dishwasher safe?
Yes, accessories are top-rack dishwasher safe. However, do not use a heated dry cycle, and ensure blades are removed from containers before washing.
How do I clean the motor base?
Unplug the unit and wipe the base with a clean, damp cloth. Never submerge the motor base or control panel in water.
Can I sharpen the blades?
No, do not attempt to sharpen the blades. If a blade is bent or damaged, contact SharkNinja for a replacement
